100 things about me for my 100th post!!!!!
1. I was born January 1st. Yes a new years baby
2. I was fostered by my parents and later adopted!
3. I have 4 brothers. 2 older and 2 younger.
4. Yearly I was in the town’s parade twirling a baton with a baton squad. The Blue Blazers.
5. My first best friend was the pastor’s daughter whom I met when I was only 1 ½.
6. When I was 5 we got a new best friend and became the 3 musketeers.
7. A year later the new friend moved two houses away from me which was wonderful because there were pretty much only boys in my town until the next year when I met another friend!
8. When I was 12 I realized that I wanted to marry my friend who moved next door’s brother!!!
9. That friend’s brother is now my husband!
10. When I was 5 I knew I wanted to be a hairdresser
11. In high school I went to votec for hairstyling and cosmetology.
12. I graduated highest in that class & got the highest score on my test for my license.
13. When I was 17 I was in a very bad car accident with my mother. It was 9 days after I got my driver’s license, but my mother was driving.
14. Because of this car accident they found 2 extra ribs that didn’t belong there.
15. I had to have one of those ribs removed after extensive physical therapy and dr visits.
16. When I was 19 my husband and I started dating serious.
17. I moved in with him when I was 19 as well.
18. I got married right after my 21st birthday
19. Guy and me were married on tax day so that he would remember. (LOL j/k about the second half)
20. Since I was 17 I have not had my natural color hair without some kind of compromise to it.
21. My husband’s mother lives at the most northern point in Maine.
22. My husband’s father still lives 2 door down from my parents J
23. We bought our home the summer before we were married about 7 minutes from our parents’ houses.
24. My first 2 cars were Ford Escorts.
25. My first new car was a Volkswagen Jetta, Wolfsburg edition.
26. My first dog was a Shetland sheepdog. Her name was baby and I miss her very much
27. My second dog was a German shepherd, Tierney. I miss her as well.
28. My husband’s dog is Cleo she still is kicking.
29. My niece is one of my friends and is only a few years younger then me. (Husband’s side)
30. My husband and me waited until we were ready to have kids.
31. We had 2 miscarriages along the way but now have 2 beautiful boys.
32. We are definitely done at 2 kids.
33. I am secretly happy that we have 2 boys and no girls.
34. I have a gorgeous salt-water aquarium that I get to gawk at every day but don’t have to take care of.
35. My house is not very big, but I love it. I just wish it weren’t so darn crowded in this area!
36. We have renovated every part of our home except the stairway hallway & the downstairs bathroom. My husband did all the work himself.
37. My first son looks nothing like me. He also has dirty blonde hair, which neither of us has and green eyes, which neither of us have.
38. My second son looks a little like me, but still takes after my husband’s side.
39. I get very mean when I don’t get enough sleep!
40. I get very lonely often.
41. I hate when my husband works nights.
42. I kind of look like my mother even though I was adopted.
43. I breastfed my first for a year, the second I was only able to for 3 weeks.
44. I am very very sad I only did for 3 weeks with number 2.
45. I do not have many friends at all.
46. The small small amount of friends that I do have I am grateful for.
47. I hate the news; it makes me depressed therefore I do not watch it.
48. I hate politics, I know we need them, but I do not follow them, it would stress me out too bad.
49. Oh my I am only half way there. Are you kidding me???
50. I love my summer tan.
51. I had a mini van I was very embarrassed of it, the lease was up and we got rid of it and now I regret it big time.
52. Sometimes I make stupid mistakes but I definitely learn from them.
53. I wish I were skinnier. I am working on that.
54. I need to be more motivated with things.
55. I always know there is plenty of room for me to grow as a mother, wife, and person in general.
56. I am very open minded, but when I am set in my ways there’s no changing my mind.
57. I take all the pictures in this house. My husband used to be the photographer, but now I am hardly in any pictures because I do all the picture taking.
58. I have not updated my kid’s scrapbooks in like 8 months.. How sad is that??
59. I love music.
60. I love going to concerts.. It’s on my list of favorite things ever.
61. I love to dance, even though I am not good at it.
62. I do not sing in front of anyone because I fear for their eardrums.
63. I hate my smile. It’s not very nice..
64. I am not photogenic at all… at least I hope I am not photogenic because if I look like that in real life.. whew….
65. I have mixed feelings about cleaning the house. I either lack or go crazy. When I go crazy look out.
66. I haven’t written any posts because I don’t want to finish this.. J
67. I wish I was able to help out my husband with the bills.
68. Yes, I am a stay at home mom and I love every minute of it.
69. I plan on finding a part time something or other when my kids are both in school, but only for hours they are in school.
70. I hate to cook. I only do it because I have to.. I am getting pretty decent at it though.
71. Growing up I was not allowed to cook, clean, do laundry or anything. Yes that sounds like I was spoiled, but I wanted to help. When I moved out I did not know how to do anything except make chocolate chip cookies.
72. My room was the cleanest room in the house when I lived with my parents.
73. I was not allowed to do anything growing up, but I found ways anyway. (I was a bit rebellious)
74. I hate spiders with a passion!
75. I love reading books, but I get so engrossed in the book I am reading that I will read instead of taking care of things. My husband can read 5 books at a time?? I don’t get it??
76. ok.. only 25 more. I am tired.
77. I love love chocolate. It is my favorite candy
78. My favorite ice cream although I will not eat it all the time is orange cream. My nana used to feed us creamsicles when we were little and it reminds me of her.
79. I just recently got a tattoo of a butterfly and the flowers of the months that my sons and husband were born.
80. I had my belly pierced several times.. only one hole, but it had to be done repeatedly.
81. When I was little I had to have my ears pierced several times as well.
82. I pierced my second hole myself. EEEEEKKK
83. My eyelashes flop and I have to curl them all the time or I look funny.
84. I wish they had a perm for eyelashes.
85. I hope that one day phish goes on a reunion tour and has a festival so that I can bring my sons.
86. The only babysitters I have are my brother’s and they are great with my kids. I am so blessed to have them. My parents watch them once in a while but it takes a lot out of them.
87. I hated tomatoes until I was pregnant with my first son. For some reason after that I could not get enough.
88. If I only had to eat one thing for the rest of my life, a restaurant down the street makes this salad that is amazing.. and it would be that.
89. I hate winter. I wish it was spring and summer all year round.
90. I love to swim.
91. When I was young I was not allowed to participate in any sports or extra curricular activities.
92. I want my boys to be able to play a sport, I believe it is very healthy and instills many great benefits for them to apply to every day life.
93. I love the ocean, the smell, the sand, the sound, all of it. But I am afraid of stepping on sea creatures…
94. I always wanted to skydiving or bungee jumping until I had kids, now I am a little chicken!
95. I wear flip-flops until December. Then I switch to regular shoes.
96. I hate socks. Even in the winter I walk around barefoot.
97. I love sitting on the couch with my husband watching movies!!
98. I can’t wait to fully enjoy my new deck, which is now useable as of yesterday!
99. oooh one more.. this is a filler.
100. I am very happy with my life and wouldn’t trade it with anyone’s because I am blessed with a gorgeous family who I love with every part of my being!

Great list. I've always wanted to do a 100 things about me list and never thought I could make it through. I'm impressed!!! I'm with you 100% about the flip flops until december and no socks rule!!
I love your list...partly because it sounds almost exactly how I would write it. I too love chocolate, being tan, wearing flipflops and I live at the ocean so you know it is top of my list. It sounds like you are a lot of fun to hang out with so I will keep my fingers crossed that you will continue to find new friends. I am not a stay at home mom, but did take time off with my first and we joined many mommy groups so he could play and I could meet mommies. Granted some of them were off their rockers (I mean that in a totally respectful way), but there were some cool moms that I did meet. I'll be checking by often!!
