As a hairdresser, I get to cut my kids hair at home. I could not imagine having to lug my kids to the mall or hairdresser to get their hair cut. It just would be not only a big hassel, but would cost me tons of money. Figure at least $12 for a kids hair cut for both my boys, who need their hair cut about every 4-6 weeks, that works up to be a decent amount of money that I could be putting into their bank accounts.
I wrote up an article to help people who may want to cut their kids hair at home, or maybe they already are but want to do a little bit better of a job. The article goes through some steps, and also goes through tools needed and shares some great tools to to the job. To read more visit my article "The Secret tips and tecniques to give a child a hair cut at home".

I have to say that this hands free gate is the best baby gate. I had it with my first. You don't need ANY hands for this gate! It worked wonders if I was holding him, or bringing in grocery's or just carrying things from room to room. You just step on the pedal and can use your knee to push it open.
I say this because this time around when it was time for a gate, I went to the store, they didn't have it, so i bought a different baby gate. I hate it.. It is awful. I need two hands sometimes to open it. If I had the money I would go buy this First Years Hands Free Gate which is the same one I had with my first!!!! I definitely used it to it's full potential!!! It's also toddler proof Which is awesome. There is a certain amount of weight that needs to be applied in order for the gate to unlatch!
