Unfortunately I am unable to join in on family fridays this week as my 9 month old little boy has a fever that is way higher than any higher fever he's had before. He has been quite sick this past 9 months, between colds and virus's and having to be on breathing treatments. I dont know yet why he has this fever as I dont see a cold or anything, but we will be calling the dr. soon to see what they want me to do.
Later I promise to come check them all out!!!!
Come join me in Family Fridays.. Whatever it may be we would love to hear about it!

1. I do not follow a strict schedule. I do however wind up falling into them, but I do not force myself or kids to have a strict schedule. It can always change, we can go to the park during naptime, or change up their lunchtime or dinnertime. Bed time too, although i try my best to put them to bed when they are tired which usually is around the same time at night.
2. I too shower at night. I feel like I have to climb into bed clean.
3. My floor has to be vacuumed all the time. I believe a clean floor makes the house look cleaner.
* Now it helps that it has to be anyway because Cory puts EVERYTHING in his mouth.. Recently he's been eating drywall. Hahaha..
4. I will NOT listen to kids music in the car unless we are on a long road trip. Call me crazy but I am driving.. Not them!!!
5. I can not read a book unless I have complete silence and alone time. When I get into a book I want to be IN the book!
6. When I bring the mail in it has to be sorted right then and there.. I can not stand having a pile of mail.
7. My kids hair has to be clean cut at all times & their fingernails always have to be short short. I dont know why I have this quirk, I try to let it go, It doesnt bother me at all when other kids are not this way, but I just have to have them clean cut. I really didnt want to cut my babies hair until he was 1, but I couldnt help myself. Is this strange or what???
8. Last but not least. (My husband pointed this out to me) That every time I write Maybe I write it Mabey even though if you ask me how to spell it I spell it write every time. I guess I just think it looks better written the way I write it.
How's that for some quirky Personal Policies. :-)

This simple table is so worth the money I spent on it. On a hot day when you just want the kids to get a little wet and they want to play you fill the sides up with water. I dont particularly use sand because i dont want the mess in both sides, but it works wonders when both are filled with water. that combined with a fishing game, some cups and scoops, squirters kids can have a blast and be entertained for quite a long time. I meant to invest in one previous years but never got around to it. This year with a little one i figured this would entertain him and he can get wet on a hot spring or summer day. Well it worked, he loves standing up next to it and splashing (of coarse with mommy's help).
If you want a way for your kids to splash around without it taking up a lot of space or using costly amounts of water, you definately should invest in one of these. They come in all different sizes, and themes. However this is the one i liked the best for a fraction of the price of the others. I got my I-Play Sand and Water table at Amazon.

So I did very good last week.. I went for walks with the boys, I worked out!! I drank a ton of water, I ate right and stayed within my points and I lost 3 lbs by the end of the week.
We then went on a getaway weekend, where I still stayed within my points for the most part, I did snack a little more, got some exercise, but I dont think I clocked in enough water. Anyway I am not making excuses, but one of those pounds came back.. But that is ok.. because that means I am still down 2 lbs... Which I am very happy about.. Anyway back on track and ready to loose some more lbs!!!!!!

*** TIP: Do not reward your weight loss with food.. Reward yourself with something else, but if you set up rewards it helps work harder towards that goal.
Set up a manicure, pedicure for yourself for when you reach a milestone like 5 or 10 lbs. Go buy yourself a new shirt, or something you really wanted, but avoid the empty calories!!!!
