Family Fridays - Kids Water Table
This has been edited for this week's edition of Works For me Wednesday Hosted by Rocks in My dryer... As this has been a summer life savor for me and I did already share it, yet it is so much fun and so wonderful for the kids in the smallest of back yards that I had to repost it for this "Mom I'm Bored" Edition!!!! Enjoy!!!
This simple table is so worth the money I spent on it. On a hot day when you just want the kids to get a little wet and they want to play you fill the sides up with water. I dont particularly use sand because i dont want the mess in both sides, but it works wonders when both are filled with water. that combined with a fishing game, some cups and scoops, squirters kids can have a blast and be entertained for quite a long time. I meant to invest in one previous years but never got around to it. This year with a little one i figured this would entertain him and he can get wet on a hot spring or summer day. Well it worked, he loves standing up next to it and splashing (of coarse with mommy's help).
If you want a way for your kids to splash around without it taking up a lot of space or using costly amounts of water, you definately should invest in one of these. They come in all different sizes, and themes. However this is the one i liked the best for a fraction of the price of the others. I got my I-Play Sand and Water table at Amazon.
Come join me in Family Fridays.. Write about something You and your family have done together over the past week or plan on doing, whether it be watching a family friendly movie, a fabulous family recipe, a fun family recipe your child(ren) helped with, a fantastic family game, products your family thinks are far out, or just simply taking a family trip out and about. Whatever it may be we would love to hear about it!

That looks like a lot of fun! Thanks for the recommendation. I am always looking for ways to keep the kids cool & occupied. : )
I want one of those! I am sorry I did not get linked to you, I had to leave this morning before you had the post up. I see you found me though lol!
Do you know Rachel from A Juggling Mom? She was talking about wanting to start a carnival very similar to this one. You might want to ask her. I think she would like it. Her blog address is on my blogroll. Maybe we can find some more people. I am going to ask a few this week.
I meant ask her to join your carnival, I read that and thart was not what it sounded like I said, sorry.
This sounds like a great idea! I'm always in need of doing something new and fun with my kids. See you next Friday!
Hi Liz,
Thanks for linking this to my Fun Fridays for Kids, it looks cool :)
I've decided to change Fun Fridays to Fun Mondays and to limit it to only websites and online 'fun things', that way our carnivals will be full of different ideas. I've also written a post about it being changed and inviting people to join you for Family Fridays. You can see it at http://jugglingmum.blogspot.com
I'll be back to join you on Friday :)
Ooooh, this looks great! I wonder If I can find a used one!!
I definitely have my eye on those sand and water tables. We need to invest! Thanks for the tip. :)
By the way, I've tagged you for a "personal policies" meme. Check out my site!
Hmmm. Maybe I need to get one of these. Thanks for your comment on my site- it's so nice to know that others are reading!
