An Overnight Trip
We as a family just need a little break from the "norm". This week hubby has decided to take us to Wildwood, NJ for a day! We are leaving Tuesday to sleep over in a hotel right in front of the beach and walking distance to the boardwalk, and we will spend the day relaxing on sand building sand castles and working on our tans, and then walking the boardwalk and going on rides for some fun! Maybe a nap in between??? I would love to pick up some of their infamous Salt water taffy & fudge. Mmmm there is something about that jersey sea water that makes that fudge amazingly great!
Of coarse I'll wind up packing way too much, and eating way too much, and getting way too much sun... but I guess I'll have to settle. hahaha!!!! I cant wait for our little trip!!!
This is a picture of Guy at the beach last summer
On the bottom photo at the left is a picture of a beached whale (me) less than a week before I delivered monkey Cory last Sept, who will be joining us at the beach for the first time ever this trip~!
To the right on this photo is my husband's sister and my childhood best friend making sure I did not deliver Cory right on the beach.
Come join me in Family Fridays.. Write about something You and your family have done together over the past week or plan on doing, whether it be watching a family friendly movie, a fabulous family recipe, a fun family recipe your child(ren) helped with, a fantastic family game, products your family thinks are far out, or just simply taking a family trip out and about. Whatever it may be we would love to hear about it!

You've been given an award! Come read about it on my blog!! :D
Have a fun trip! Enjoy your welcomed break. :)
Sounds like a really fun time!
We went to the beach this Friday . . oh it was wonderful! It was a bit cool with the breez, but that didn't stop my daughter from playing in the waves, and her little body just shook with the shivers, didn't stop her though.
My boy on the other hand just wanted to play in the sand.
Overall it was WONDERFUL
Loved it.
Looks like you did too . . and will again!
We are considering taking a trip to Wildwood NJ at the begining of September. My baby will be 11 months old at that time. Any recommendations or suggestions?
