Monkey Munchie Cupcakes
First I have to give all the credit that goes to this recipe to WILTON!!!!! I am so excited that they have this recipe on their website as the theme to Cory's 1st Birthday is Monkey's. I have to make this today.. So i better start now!!!! It is not tried and true by me yet, but I have to make it today so I figured you can all share on the journey with me. Ingredients:
*Brand confectionery coating
Ice cupcakes smooth with chocolate icing. Tint portions of melted white candy black and light pink using candy colors. Add a small amount of melted cocoa candy to white for tan shade used on face. Outline and pipe-in parchment-covered face patterns with melted candy in cut disposable bags; refrigerate until firm.
Carefully peel off parchment. Position upper face candy on cupcake; overlap with lower face candy. Pipe eyes, nose, mouth and cheeks using melted candy in cut bag. Insert 2 cocoa Candy Melts wafers in cupcake for ears.
Each serves 1.
