Laughter Because of A Child
The way a child can make you laugh is incredible. Of coarse there are the up's and down's of having children. On a daily basis they can make parenting feel like that part of your life is bi-polar. Your happy one second, then they are testing your boundaries the next and your ready to pull all of your hair out, But the parts of the day when they say or do those particular things that make you laugh... I mean really laugh... The laugh that comes straight from your belly and out into the world for everyone to hear... Those are the best times!!!!
My 3 1/2 year old Guy says the funniest things. We have never spoken to him in babytalk, we always thought he was able to understand us when we speak like adults, and for that he has an amazing vocabulary. There are days where he will pull big words out of the air and use them correctly in a sentence or phrase, and it amazes us! Usually it is something funny and we all wind up hysterically laughing.
There are those times where he will say something completely unexpected and right after It amazed me so much that i have to call my husband up while he is at work to tell him what he has said to share the enjoyment as much as I have. Of coarse he does not pronounce everything correctly as he is only 3 years old. He uses W for L. So when he says please mommy.. it is more like "pwease mommy". Or "Cory cant have that because he is wittle". It just makes those big words like when he says vocabulary that much more exciting and memorable because it is "vocabuwary".
I look foward to the daily funny events in which my son Guy makes me laugh. It is almost as if it takes all the times through out the day that he wouldn't listen, or he was mean to Cory, completely erase off the slate for a fresh start.
